Step Into Life Poster Series

CHALLENGE

Step into life is a personal challenge. I wanted to study animals and their symbolic meaning in different parts of the world and compare it to how I see these animals.

Future: The first poster of step into life series. Chameleon holds a lot of symbolic meanings, for me, chameleons represent the future. There are two reasons why I chose a chameleon as a symbol for the future: Firstly, its movement, chameleons move slowly but surely; looking everywhere to decide what step to take and which way to go, just like how our experiences, our ups and downs, and our relations shape the way for us. Secondly, its ability to change colours, chameleons can change colour based on the surface they are on, their mood and temperature, and that's exactly how we shape our future. I believe that our future is subjected to the changes we make through our life, so there is nothing like one future waiting for you. We are able to choose our own future based on the things we do, our moods, and our needs. There are tons of things in the world waiting for you to choose from, so go on your life, fear nothing, enjoy your journey, and make your future.

History: The second poster of step into life series. One of the symbolic meanings of the whale is the keeper of history. I chose whales to represent history due to their long life span, some whales like the bowhead whale lives up to 200 years. Never forget your past, keep learning from your mistakes and follow your ambition.

Freedom: The third poster of the Step into Life series. Hummingbirds have a lot of symbolic meanings because of their abilities but for me the hummingbird means freedom, just watch a hummingbird flying around and you'll understand. They are small birds capable of way too much from the ability to travel great distances to the ability to fly backwards, exactly like the freedom, it's a basic human right but allow you to do whatever you wish. Freedom is a huge responsibility, use it wisely.
